Best Weight Loss Diet: How To Design The Best Weight Loss Diet For You
Author: Bestweightlossdiet.org
What exactly is the best weight loss diet for you? Is there even such a thing at all? The answer to that question is an emphatic YES, and you will know the answer to that question and how to answer many more by following the simply step-by-step process below. Step 1 - Know Your Current Diet Everyone is on a diet of some sort. If you decide to eat cheeseburgers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it could be said that you are on a cheeseburger diet. Probably not the most healthy choice but I hope you get the point I am trying to make. You may not have paid any special attention to the foods you are currently putting into your body, so it is now time to become aware. Take some time out of your day to reflect upon your past and current dietary habits. For example, how frequently do you eat? Do you eat three big meals per day or many smaller meals? Do the foods you eat contain more carbohydrates, fats or proteins? Try to come up with the best model for your current diet, Monday-Sunday. If you are trying to lose weight it is likely that you are not currently eating a healthy or balanced diet at all. You are probably eating way too much of one type of nutrient, and not enough of another. Most people tend to lean towards one kind of nutrient, and eat foods that contain that nutrient in greater quantities. You may not even be aware of this personal preference! Spend some time (a week will be more than enough) to record what you are currently eating, and when you eat it. Please do not skip this step. Yes, it will take some commitment on your part to do this, and you will have to be brutally honest with yourself, but it is so important that you understand your current dietary habits before you can begin to understand what might be the best weight loss diet for you. Once you have meticulously recorded this information for at least a week, it is time for the next step. Step 2 - Understand What You Want The very fact that you are here reading this article shows that you have some sort of idea what you wish to accomplish. You obviously want to lose weight and to do that, you are looking for the best weight loss diet to accomplish your personal goals. The point of this step is to come to terms with what it is you really want. You need to get specific in this step. This may seem like a really easy step to accomplish, but do it anyway. So many people who start to work this step realize that they don't have a firm grasp on what they want or even why they want it. Just wanting to lose weight is not enough of a goal. You need to decide how much to lose, how fast you want to do it, and then you need to find out the healthiest way to accomplish your chosen goals. For example, hopefully one of your goals is to keep the weight off forever once you do lose it. If this is a goal of yours write it down and make note of it. You need to know these things to design the best weight loss diet for you. Once you have written out your personal weight loss goals, and have a record of your current dietary habits, you will be armed with the information and knowledge you need to start building the best weight loss diet that will be completely personal to you and what you want. You will know where you have been and what possible dietary habits could be contributing to your current weight issues, and you will know what you want to achieve, and why. Now you are ready to take it all your work into step 3. Step 3 - Talk To A Professional The best weight loss diet for you will be a diet that focuses on your personal weight loss goals, the kinds of foods you like and dislike, and will take into account all factors surrounding your current dietary choices and your current state of health. For instance, the best weight loss diet for a diabetic is going to be a bit different from the diet of someone who wants to run 5 miles per day. The best thing you can do for yourself at this point, is to seriously discuss these things with your doctor. Your doctor can help you decide the best weight loss diet for you, while taking into account all important factors to maintain your health. Since you have recorded your current dietary habits down, as well as your personal weight loss goals, you will have a great amount of information to share with your doctor. Your doctor is the perfect person to help you come to sound and reasonable conclusions about your current diet and what you can do to change it and meet your personal goals. You will feel better not having to go this alone, and you will be able to avoid all of the pseudo-science and diet garbage that poses as sound advice today. Conclusion I hope it is obvious by now that the best weight loss diet for you, is the one you personally design. Although all of the best weight loss diets will involve some form of calorie control, you still need to come to terms with what kind of control you will need to use in your personal diet. Your optimal or 'maintenance weight' will not be the same as someone else. The most effective way to do this is to follow the three steps above. Do things right the first time and you will enjoy your new body for years to come.

10 Minutes to a New You
Beauty Tips for Mom By Ingrie Williams
You're pressed for time, especially when it comes to making you a priority. Even with only a few minutes to spare, it is possible to get a better-looking-you out the door. Whether it's spent on your hair, body or smile, here's how to make the most of your precious minutes - 10 to be exact.
Saving Face
Minute 1: Start by washing with lukewarm water and a cleanser suited to your skin type.
Minute 2 : Exfoliation is key for radiant skin (trust us!), so keep a washcloth or buff pad at-the-ready for everyday use. If you don't have an exfoliant, you can make your own by mixing ½ cup of sugar with enough olive or sunflower oil to moisten the paste. Use small circles to slough away dead cells and reveal new layers of skin.
Minute 3-7 : Try a mask a few times a week. Makeup artist Diana Carreiro (who has amazing skin) swears by a weekly paste of 4-6 regular Aspirin crushed up and mixed with a bit of water. Apply to your face, let dry and then rinse. "The acid in Aspirin is an excellent exfoliator," she says.
Minute 8: Massage a skin-suitable moisturizer to your face and neck. If you're heading outdoors, be sure it has SPF 15 or higher.
Minute 9 : Using your ring finger, gently dot on eye cream. This will help nourish this very delicate area.
Minutes 10 : Spot-treat blemishes with a clear acne treatment gel. Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide are two of the best blemish-fighting ingredients to look for. Note: If you have any reactions to these ingredients, stop using them and see your doctor for a recommended alternative.
Make Yourself Up
Minutes 1-2: Using your fingers or a sponge, gently apply and blend foundation to your face. If you're not sure what shade to use, spend some time at your local drugstore for ideas.
Minutes 3-4: Use concealer for redness, blemishes and any darkness under the eyes. Choose a shade slightly lighter than your skin tone and opt for a creamy formula and apply and blend it with your fingers.
Minute 5: Groom your brows. According to Carreiro, along with a good hair cut, great brows make the biggest impact. Remove strays with slanted-tip tweezers and use an eyebrow brush to keep hairs in place.
Minute 6: A neutral eye shadow with subtle shimmer will make your eyes pop. Use a small, flat brush to sweep it from your lashes to the crease of your eyelid.
Minutes 7-8: Curl lashes. Finish with two coats of black mascara. If you're fair, try brown.
Minute 9: Apply a sheer coral (pinkish yellow) powder blush to the apples of your cheeks (smile in the mirror to find them). Blend and sweep the colour up to your temples. Minute 10: Apply a tinted lip balm.
SOS For Your Body
Minutes 1-2: In the shower, use an exfoliating scrub or mesh sponge to deal with dry patches and bumps. Massage in circular motions.
Minutes 3-4: With a pumice stone, give the soles of your feet a light buff. Minutes 5-6: Grab your razor - shaving is the quickest and cheapest way to smooth legs. Exfoliate before you shvae to help reduce ingrown hairs.
Minutes 7-8: Once out of the shower - and while skin is still damp - slather on a rich body cream to seal in moisture.
Minutes 9-10: Whether it's January or July, if you're heading outdoors, protect exposed skin with SPF 15 or higher.
The Mane Event Minutes 1-2: Lather up with a shampoo and conditioner designed for your hair type. Minute 3: Gently squeeze out excess water and towel-dry hair by blotting - not rubbing.
Minutes 4-10: If your hair is straight or wavy and long enough to pull back, apply a styling product while hair is damp (thickening mousse for fine types; frizz-controlling lotion for waves). Using your blow dryer, dry the top layers around the front, then flip hair over to blast your roots and any remaining damp areas. With your fingers, rake hair into a bun, creating a side part. Loosen strands around the sides and front to frame your face. Secure with a covered elastic band. If you have curls , apply a curl-defining gel or lotion to damp hair (immediately after squeezing out water is best), style and allow hair to air dry. If you have short hair , towel- or blow dry and apply a small amount of pomade to your ends for shine and texture.
Something To Smile About Minute 1: Get out the floss, which helps remove plaque from areas your toothbrush can't reach. The length you'll need to do the job right should stretch from your hand to your shoulder when your arm is extended.
Minutes 2-3 : Brush away plaque and bacteria with a whitening toothpaste. These types of pastes work daily to reduce surface stains from coffee, tea and red wine. For extra-fresh breath, give your tongue a quick brush.
Minutes 4-9: A 10-minute whitening strip can work magic, even when left on for only a few minutes. Use one on your upper teeth.
Minute 10: Enhance your hard work by adding some color to your lips. A creamy lipstick or sheer gloss in a red or berry-based hue takes your smile from blah to brilliant.
Give Yourself A Hand Minute 1: Use nail polish remover to get rid of any old polish.
Minute 2: Shape nails with a file but keep the length short. "Nothing over the tips of your fingers - it's the most elegant and easiest to maintain shape," says Carreiro.
Minutes 3-4: Massage a cuticle oil or cream to dry nail beds. Push back cuticles.
Minutes 5-9: Use a four-sided buffer to give a smooth, glass-like finish. Don't worry about being precise - even a quick once-over will make nails shine.
Minute 10: Rub on a hydrating hand cream. Look for one with ingredients like shea butter or glycerin.
